Group 1: Non-interventional controlled observational trial: geriatric patients receive geriatric diagnostic, additionnally, there is investigation of oral health parameters and masticatory function.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age over or 70 years, able to give informed consent, hospitalized Patient of the ATZ Cologne Kalk
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Age below 70 years lack of inclusion criteria

| Traumatologic Parameters: documentation of Fall history and mode of fall (extrinsic, intrinsic), both taken from the records of the patients. Dental Parameters: masticatory function is measured via Standardized Chewing Test Units , standardized gummibears are chewed and the grade of crushing is doumented. Additionnally, a two-coloured chewing gum ist chewed and the intermixture of the colours is documented | — |
