Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with psoriasis vulgaris (L40.0) without pruritus (group 1) and with pruritus (group 2, historical control group from the Psoritus study)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients younger than 18 years. Patients who cannot complete the questionnaires due to physical or psychiatric diseases. Patients with reduced consciousness. Patients who don't understand German.

MeasureTime frame
The aim of the study is to compare the expression of genes of olfactory receptors and of barrier associated genes within the skin between patients with psoriasis suffering from pruritus and patients with psoriasis, but no pruritus. Data will be collected once by means of a skin biopsy.
