Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: • non-specific neck pain Grade I, II or III acoording to the Neck PainTask Force, including Whiplash Associated Disorders Grade I,II or III • neck pain as main reason for referral to physiotherapy • 18 years or older • neck complaints for at least one week • sufficient understanding of English, German or Dutch language to fill in questionnaires • physically fit to undergo measurements or tests • sign an informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: • fractures in spine or head • congenital deformities • reumatic, systemic or neurologic disease • malignities in upper body part • surgery in cervical spine or head
