Healthy participants Neck pain G56.0

Interventions

Group 1: Tasks in sitting and standing posture using the camera system. A total of four Situations will be analyzed. Group 2: Tasks in sitting and standing posture using the magnifying lenses.

18 Years to 65 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Healthy participants between the age of 18 and 65 who are able to sit and stand without pain for at least an hour. Furthermore, participants should understand instructions in German or English.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria: disc prolapse, neurological diseases, psychiatric disorders, substance abuse, carpal tunnel syndrome, upper limb fractures, musculoskeletal disorders of the upper limbs, or a degenerative disease of the spine. Furthermore, participants who have experienced lateral or medial epicondylitis within the last six months or have been diagnosed with degenerative diseases of the spine will be excluded.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Optimization of neck position (cranio-vertebral-angle) while participants perform the task; measurement through video taping and subsequent evaluation through kinovea.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Upper body posture, Muscle tension of M. Trapezius during the execution; perceived exertion (Borg scale) and productivity while after performing the tasks; evaluation took place after the trial.
