Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: • age: 6-17 years old of both sexes. • Acceptance of parents to participate in the study. • absence of gross brain damage before the onset. • absence of chronic medical conditions.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: • Autistic spectrum disorders • Refusal of parents to participate in the study.

| Examine different neuropsychiatric comorbidities of ADHD patients by different questionnaires and neurophysiology at single time point. Diagnosis of ADHD and its subtypes (predominant inattentive , predominant hyperactive and combinedsubtype) is made by clinical interview, ADHDT arabic version questionnaire, SNAP IV questionnaire. Diagnosis of early onset bipolar I is made by clinical interview and Young mania rating scale (parent version) and Pediatric behavior rating scale. Diagnosis of comorbid psychiatric disorders are made by Conners comprehensive behavior rating scale for ADHD (arabic version) such as conduct disorder, learning problem, psychosomatic and anxiety. Diagnosis of comorbid psychiatric disorders such as major depression,suicidality, panic disorder, social phobia, obsessive compulsive disorder, post traumatic disorder, substance abuse, psychotic disorders, eating disorder and generalized anxiety are made by Mini International Neuropsychiatric Interview (MINI) scale Parent version. Assessment of emotion regulation and lability by Emotion Regulation checklist. The Cambridge Neurological Inventory: It is a clinical instrument for assessment of soft neurological signs. Electroencephalogram EEG for diagnosis of epilepsy Evoked Potentials P300 for assessment of cognitive functions. Visual Evoked Potentials VEP for assessment of structural lesions in optic pathway. Brainstem Auditory Evoked Potentials BAEP for assessment of structural lesion in auditory pathway. | — |
