Understanding the pathophysiology of POCD by measuring the expression of enzymes that regulate epigenetic mechanisms after stimulating whole blood samples with different anesthetics. Analysis of epigenetic markers such as DNA methylation, acetylation and histone modifications after anesthetic stimulation.
