Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Indication for interventional aortic valve replacement (CoreValve®/Evolut®R or Edwards Sapien3®), age = 60 years, written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Known severe disorder of the coagulation system, known hematologic diseases, severe hepatopathy, hemodialysis, contraindication for treatment with TAVI, peri- or postinterventional transfusions of fresh frozen plasma (FFP), platelets or coagulation factors

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Platelet reactivity of patients with postinterventional thrombocytopenia after TAVI is determined at day one and day five after intervention by Multiplate® Analyzer.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Platelet turnover and platelet reactivity of patients directly before and after TAVI and also at day one and day five post intervention.
