Interventions

Group 1: Patients with active genital Herpes who will perform a swab every day for 10 consecutive days and will send them to a virological lab.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Recurrent HSV-1/-2 infection with visible macroscopic lesions (ulcera, bubble, erythema) of urogenital or anal mucosa with known chronic recurring HSV-infection of u / anal tract or urogenital-tract 2) Age = 18 Years 3) Capacity to communicate with the investigator 4) Capacity to consent 5) Capacty of given consent in written form

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Any disease or condition that will interfer with the sampling or any medical reason that will hamper the sampling of material according to the investigator. 2) Lack of written informed consent
