Group 1: Participants receive a sleep study for one single night by polysomnography in a sleep lab according to actual guidelines. It includes recording of respiratory effort by Respiratory Inductance

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients with suspicion of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - drug use and excessive alcohol consumption - any medication intake that could influence sleep - presence of any sleep disorder other than OSA - clinically unstable respiratory or cardiovascular disease - prior treatment of OSA

Degree of agreement between the new sensor (CID-102) with the reference measurement (RIP - Respiratory Inductance Plethysmography) in terms of detection of three different pattern of disturbed breathing (obstructive apnea, central apnea, mixed apnea) explored by analysis of correlation, sensitivity, and specificity.
