Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: • acute exacerbation of asthma or COPD, requiring extracorporeal CO2 elimination and NIV-NAVA due to severe respiratory acidosis • Placement of NAVA probe and ECCO2R feasible
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: - Pregnancy - Age 75 Y - Severe contraindications against Anticoagulation - Severe contraindications against non-invasive ventilation
