Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: - Patients from the north of Hesse - patients insured by the AOK Hesse who have received an invitation letter - patients from other legally health insurance companies who have not received an invitation letter - 55 years of age and older - patients whp have never undergone a colonoscopy before We evaluated data from the year of 2013 until 2015. In 2014, above mentioned invitation letters were sent. We compared the participation rate in undergoing a screening colonoscopy before, during and after the invitation letters had been sent.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients who have already undergone a colonoscopy before and who are younger than 55 years of age
