Group 1: In this study, we measure various MR-parameters in healthy controls in a baseline MRI and two follow-ups at 3 and 12 months. We can then compare the longitudinal changes in healthy controls t

Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Primary outcome is to quantify MR-parameter changes in the brains of healthy controls following a baseline MRI and repeated MRIs at 3 months and 12 months using image analysis techniques. These MR-parameters are quantitative MR measures T1, T2, T2* (in ms) and proton density (in percentage units relative to water), isotropic and anisotropic diffusion, metabolite concentrations (e.g. Choline, Creatine, N-acetylaspartate), as well as volumetric measurements of various brain regions. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| - using the baseline MRIs, we will determine possible correlations of MR-parameters with age - changes of MR-parameters with age after 3 months and 12 months in healthy controls will be compared to those of glioma patients | — |
