Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: age > 18 years, elective surgery, ASA classification I or II, informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: pregnancy, known difficult airway, emergency procedure, risk of aspiration, pacemaker / implantable cardioverter/defibrillator or other active implants, known pulmonary disease

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Regional Ventilation (via EIT), recorded continuously during anesthesia induction.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Airway flow and airway pressure: continuously recorded during anesthesia induction. SpO2, etCO2, bispectral index, train-of-four ratio: recorded during anesthesia induction in intervals of 2.5 minutes.
