Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Baroreflex sensitivity, monitored and calculated during the one autonomic testing. Baroreflex sensitivity describes the transfer-function-gain between LF- and HF-oscillation of blood pressure and heart rate, so the amplification of autonomic oscillation of heart rate/RR-intervals in relation to oscillation of the blood pressure in LF and HF-components is calculated. There has to be sufficient coherence (>0.5) between the oscillation of blood pressure and heart rate in LF and HF-components.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
current psychic strain, measured after the autonomic testing by questionnaires (Trier chronic stress inventory, Beck Depression Inventory, Borderline Symptom List)
