Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: registered participant of Munich Marathon 2017, at least one completed half-Marathon, sufficient, german language skills Control-group: no regular endurance Training (< 3/week), no participation in a half-/Marathon, sufficient german language skills

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: regularly consumption of Cannabis, BMI > 30, history of seizures

MeasureTime frame
1. Adaptions of the central nervous System during the Training period for a Marathon and after the Marathon will be measured with different methods: cognitive Tasks, physiological techniques (EEG, TMS, tDCS) and Imaging techniques (MRI) and blood samples (neurobiological markers). 2. Adaptions of the cardio-vascular system with blood samples, stool samples, echocardiography, vascular Parameters (e.g. microcirculation, pulse wave analysis). The measurements will be performed 10-14 weeks and 1-2 weeks prior to the Marathon and 1-2 weeks and 3 months after the Marathon.
