Group 1: All patients with spinal complaints in the orthopaedic department of Regensburg university medical centre. With the aid of a study nurse, the general patient parameters are first interrogated

Inclusion criteria: All patients with spinal or foot complaints in the orthopaedic department of Regensburg university medical centre

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient is not willing or unable to participate in the study.

Check whether an electronic decision support system in the field of low back pain can assist the physician in his diagnosis, and if so, to further improve the system on the basis of the doctor's decisions so that the system can be used in practice. For this, the data requested by the computer are compared with those of the physician and correlated. The system learns and adapts within the study phases.	—

Evaluation to use the system in different contexts to improve the quality of care, e.g. In medical practices and in the context of telemedicine (care research). Early access to supportive, evidence-based evidence, especially in rural areas, suggests the use of such a decision support system in the area of back pain. In the first part of the study only the accuracy of the system against the physician's assessment is examined. In a further study the system is then used in different outpatient clinics in different areas.	—
