Group 1: Every arm: some tests including video material, questionnaires and photographies

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria patients: - diagnosed amnestic MCI or alzheimer disease (criterias following the S3-dementia-guideline) - MCI-patients: detailed neuropsychological Investigation within the last 12 month - elaborate explanatory meeting and written agreement - Age: older than 50 years - good knowledge of german language - Minimum 6 years of education or the equivalent of alphabetisation Inclusion criteria controlgroup: - unimpaired social cognition - elaborate explanatory meeting and written agreement - Age: 20 - 35 years or older than 50 years - good knowledge of german language - Minimum 6 years of education or the equivalent of alphabetisation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria patients: - urgent psychological or neurological diseases (clinical relevant episode of depression, geriatric depression scale, scoring 11 Points or higher) Exclusion criteria controlgroup: - dementia or mild cognitive impairment - ability of social cognition under the range according to age, gender and education urgent psychological or neurological diseases (clinical relevant episode of depression, geriatric depression scale, scoring 11 Points or higher or BDI I-II > 20 points)

Social cognition, investigated with the following tests: The Karolinska directed emotional faces (KDEF): 28 Pictures of male and female faces showing the Basic emotions; decoding emotions Reading mind in the eyes-test: 36 Pictures of male and female eyes; Decoding emotions MASC (Movie for the Assessment of Social Cognition): Video material and following questionnaire; theory of mind Theory of mind Picture Stories Task: Sorting 6 picture stories in the right order and following questionnaire
