Group 1: In Arm 1 only helathy patients with a Gingivitis are included. In the first patient session the patients get a check, survey of dental indices is conducted, recording and explaining the study

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: - Patients who regularly (every 6 months) get a dental checkup in the dental clinic of the University Hospital of Cologne - Patients who belong to the dental clinic's recallsystem and receive a professional teeth cleaning every six months - Patients who have no diseases - Patients who have accepted the declaration of agreement and dont take part in another study - Patients who are older than 18 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Patients who are generally not indicated for dental treatment - Patients who are regularly take antibiotics - Patients, for who a experimental bacteremia could be a risk, especially pregnant women or immunosuppressed patients

MeasureTime frame
An orally induced bacteremia is measured after brushing (after 30 seconds). For this purpose, the oral microbiom of the saliva is measured by means of a dorsal tongue smear before brushing the teeth. This is then compared with the microbiom of the blood after brushing. A blood sampling is carried out after brushing the teeth.

MeasureTime frame
The microbiom in the blood, triggered by bacteremia by brushing, correlates with the oral microbiome of a dorsal tongue swab.
