Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Clinical indication for catheter ablation due to atrial fibrillation or atrial flutter.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - Left atrium > 55mm - Left atrial thrombus - Instable Angina pectoris / present myokardial infarction < 3 month - Mitral regurgiation - NYHA III-IV - Stroke/TIA < 3 month - uncontrolled hyperthyreodism - Pregnancy - Life expectancy < 1 year - Contraindication for oral anticoagulation - Mitral prothesis

Compilation of the maps and analysis of a local overlap between the different mapping techniques: CFAEs, rotors, low-voltage

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Determination of the excitation patterns in the retrospective analysis of the data. Division into substrate-based, functional, active and passive.
