Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Arthroscopic shoulder surgery 2. Patients in ASA classes 1 to 3 3. Informed consent 4. Surgery with General anaesthetic 5. Meets guidelines regarding peri-operative coagulation 6. Age > 18 years
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Allergy to local anaesthetic 2. Pregnancy 3. Obesity (BMI > 35) 4. Pre-existing anatomical deformities (e.g. induced by fracture of the clavicle) 5. Neuropathy (primary: genetic; sekundary: inflammatory, auto-immune, metabolic, toxic) 6. Known disease of the diaphragm 7. Pacemaker or implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD)
