Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Major endpoint is the presence of heartfailure ("no" or stage A/B/C/D as per AHA/ACC classification) at the respective time of examination. Endpoints subordinate to the main endpoint are all characteristics that contribute to the qualification for the individual stages of heart failure: • risk factors (especially obesity, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes mellitus, chronic renal insufficiency); Defined by pre-existing diagnosis, existing treatment for this reason or currently collected measured values ??(if applicable). The limits ??for the measured targets ??are defined by the guidelines at the beginning of the analysis; They are specified in the analysis plan. • Characteristics of structural heart failure: CHD (defined by preexisting diagnosis or revascularisation or myocardial infarction), echocardiographic measurements (impaired systolic or diastolic function, dilatation, hypertrophy, valve vortices, targets according to guidelines at start of analysis), ECG (positive Sokolov index, Index) • Symptoms and signs of heart failure If individual characteristics are considered controversial, primary and other secondary variants of the main end point can be defined and the calculations can be executed several times. Data are collected both during initial and follow-up investigations (Data from face-to face-interviews and physical examinations) | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| Secondary endpoints: there are numerous pre-planned module-specific outcomes, including for example identification of risk factors, intermediate (preclinical) phenotypes, and comorbidities on changes in cardiac function | — |
