Group 1: Prospective single arm study Patients with severe bronchial Asthma. Bronchial Thermoplasty (BT): 3 consecutive Treatments every 4 weeks. - First Treatment: Ultrasound measurement using Ballon

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Severe and uncontrolled Bronchial Asthma despite of optimal medical therapy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Contraindication for bronchoscopy or radiofrequency.

Design outcomes

Primary

Measure	Time frame
Reduction of airway smooth muscles in both the upper lobes 8 weeks after treatment of the main bronchi. Measurement by rEBUS and biopsy.	—

Pulmonary function test (Bodyplethysmography), Quality of Life (AQLQ), paraclinical parameters (Diff-BB, FeNO, BAL) before and 12 weeks after Bronchial Thermoplasty	—
