Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Severe and uncontrolled Bronchial Asthma despite of optimal medical therapy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Contraindication for bronchoscopy or radiofrequency.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Reduction of airway smooth muscles in both the upper lobes 8 weeks after treatment of the main bronchi. Measurement by rEBUS and biopsy.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Pulmonary function test (Bodyplethysmography), Quality of Life (AQLQ), paraclinical parameters (Diff-BB, FeNO, BAL) before and 12 weeks after Bronchial Thermoplasty
