Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients: ADHD diagnosis (ICD-10 F90.* und F98.8). Healthy controls: no psychiatric diagnosis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: brain damage or neurological diseases, IQ below 85, amnesia, sleep disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, severe depressive episode, oppressive-compulsive disorder, substance dependence (addiction), suicidal tendency

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Recognition accuracy in the memory test (old vs. new pictures) administered after the wake vs. sleep-condition (within-subject).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Neuronal activity during encoding before the wake vs. sleep-condition measured by fMRI and EEG. Sleep during the retention interval in the sleep-condition measured by polysomnography.
