Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Primary outcome is change in OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder) symptoms: comparison of both conditions from baseline to follow-up assessment after 6 weeks on the Yale-Brown Obsessive-Compulsive Scale (Y-BOCS), self-report, total score

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary endpoints are change in depressive symptoms (PHQ-9) as well as dysfunctional metacognitive biases in OCD (14 questions on relevant chapters of the myMCT are posed) from baseline to follow-up assessment after 6 weeks. Other secondary outcomes are the Obsessive-Compulsive Rating Scale Revised (OCI-R) und the Maladaptive und Adaptive Coping Scale (MAX). Secondary outcomes are compared for both groups across time (from baseline to follow-up assessment after 6 weeks). We also determine possible moderators of treatment response (particularly, motivation for change (URICA scale), demographic variables, prior treatments and experience with self-help material).
