Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: At least 10 years of professional soccer training (= three times a week)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Diabetes mellitus Heart failure Untreated Hypertension Epilepsy Age under 18 years or over 50 years

MeasureTime frame
Primary outcome measure was the evaluation of the somatotrope axis in professional soccer players meeting the inclusion criteria and referred to glucagon stimulation test. Soccer players were screened from april 2015 to may 2016. Data concerning age, duration of soccer playing, systemic risk factors and history of brain injury in the past were collected from each patient.
