Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: • in need of increasing the vertical dimension = 1 mm (in the premolar region) • in need of minimal 4 restorations (2 per side) in the maxilla and/or mandible • test teeth without extended fillings (at minimum 50% of the buccal and oral wall has to be unrestored) • full-mouth plaque scores (FMPS) and full-mouth bleeding scores (FMBS) < 25% • a signed informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: • active erosion (e.g. active bulimia, anorexia, reflux) if needed confirmed by medical report • untreated periodontal disease • Women who are pregnant at the date of inclusion
