Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Informed consent, Inpatient treatment for Anorexia nervosa, Bulimia nervosa oder Binge Eating Disorder in Schön Klinik Roseneck hospital. Analoguous data from female inpatients collected in the same way as for males will be used.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Mental or physical illness excluding appropriate participation in the study

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Admission, discharge, follow-up: Body weight, eating disorder-specific and general psychopathology. Follow-up:: standardized mortality, diagnostic outcome (eating disorder diagnosis according to DSM-IV, DSM-5 and ICD-10)

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Description of gender-specific course and outcome, and assessment of risk factors. Data from clinical expert ratings (SIAB-EX, PSR) and self-rating questionnaires (SIAB-S, EDI, BSI, Munich ED-Quest, DMS, CET, CET) will be collected. Main assessment time point are 1. admission to inpatient treatment, 2. discharge from inpatient treatment, 3. follow-up.
