Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Children and adolescents: 1) participation in one of the two holiday camps organized by the Paediatric Nephrology of the University Hospital Colgone 2) chronic kidney disease that is treated in the University Hospital Cologne 3) informed consent of the child and in case of minority the parents Parent: 1) participation of the child in one of the two holiday camps organized by the Paediatric Nephrology of the University Hospital Colgone 2) child with chronic kidney disease that is treated in the University Hospital Cologne 3) informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: no sufficient German linguistic proficiency to fill in the questionnaires independently

| Survey: Participants of the holiday camps of the Paediatric Nephrology of the University Hospital Cologne that take place in summer (10 days) and in autumn (7 days) fill in questionnaires concerning their health-related quality of life (KIDSCREEN-52) and their self-esteem (Rosenberg's self-esteem scale) before the participation in one of the camps, shortly after their participation and six weeks later. Moreover, the parents of the participants fill in questionnaires concerning their childrens' health-related quality of life (KIDSCREEN-52) as well as their own (ULQIE). | — |

| Moreover, renal retention parameters, nutrion paramenters as well as drug levels that are determined in the course of routine appointments in our paediatric nephrology outpatients department are included to evaluate a possible effect on the physical health of the patients.
