Interventions

Group 1: Patients with chronic periodontitis will be asked about the quality of life before and 6-8 weeks after their non-surgical periodontal therapy with the questionnaire "OHIP - G14" .

Inclusion criteria: - periodontal disease - willingness to fill in a questionnaire before and 6-8 weeks after non-surgical periodontal treatment

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: - surgical periodontal treatment modalities

Primary

Measure	Time frame
The patients' quality of life will be investigated by the aid of the OHIP - G14 questionaire before and ??6-8 weeks after non- surgical periodontal therapy.	—

Secondary

Measure	Time frame
The influence of age, type of therapy and diagnosis should be investigated by the aid of OHIP - G14 6-8 weeks after termination of the non-surgical periodontal therapy.	—
