Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: "Heavy User": >5 inpatient therapies with main diagnosis alcohol dependence in the last year or >10 in the last 5 years Controlgroup: 2-3 admissions in the last 5 years with 12 months between admissions Both: alcohol dependency as defined in ICD-10, contact by telephone possible, permanent residence, sufficient German language skills
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Schizophrenia or psychotic disorder; dementia; serious somatic illness which would affect the examination; acute suicidality
