Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Care home residents St. Elizabeth, care level I-III, dement and non-dement, own consent of participate or consent of lawful deputy, at least 4 teeth left,
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: life-threatening illness or condition close to death, professional tooth cleaning at the begin of the study not possible according to health condition or dementia, forseeable loss of left tooth according to already diagnosed inflammation/ loosening of the teeth, toothless jaws, diabetes mellitus with HbA1c < 7.5, risk of endocarditis with necessary antibiotic screening prior to dental treatments, persons dependend on/ in employment contract with sponsor or examiner
