Primary

MeasureTime frame
Detection of viral infection after Livertransplantation. Postoperative viral infections were diagnosed by detection of specific IgM antibodies and clinical symptoms such as fever, thrombocytopenia, vesicular/ulcerated lesions (HSV), Ground-glass opacification of the lung (CMV), or hepatic dysfunction. An active CMV infection was defined as at least one pp65-positive cell per 2×10high5 circulating polymorphonuclear neutrophils.

Detection of risk factors for viral infection. A binary multivariate logistic regression model was calculated to identify possible risk factors for the event “viral infection”.
