Design outcomes
Primary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| The temporal courses of esophageal pressure, airway pressure, and flow rate are recorded. In an offline analysis the intratidal compliance course of the thorax will be calculated. | — |
Secondary
| Measure | Time frame |
|---|---|
| The temporal courses of bladder pressure, esophageal pressure, airway pressure, and flow rate are recorded. In an offline analysis the intratidal compliance course of the total respiratory system, the abdomen, and lung will be calculated. During the experiment the fractional concentration of oxygen in inspired/exspired gas and oxygenation will be recorded. Data analysis will be performed after the experiment. | — |
