Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients with COPD =2 (FEV1 <50%, FEV1/IVC < 70%), PO2 < 60 mmHg, signed written consent, Age = 18 Jahre

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: age 140/min, breathing frequency >25/min), patients with peripheral arterial disease, patients with therapeutic anticoagulation (i.e. Warfarin), patients with coagulopathy (quick 50 sec.), circulatory disorder of the hand, negative Allen test, missing informed consent
