Interventions

Group 1: Group 1: Healthy adults (aged 18-30, n=20)
Behavioural parameters of cognitive tasks (EpiTrack, VLMT, ROCFT, mental rotation test, Go/NoGo) with tDCS (Transcranial direct current stimulation) before n-back task Group 2: Group 2: Healthy adults
Behavioural parameters of cognitive tasks (EpiTrack, VLMT, ROCFT, mental rotation test, Go/NoGo) with tDCS (Transcranial direct current stimulation) during n-back task Group 3: Group 3: Healthy adults
Behavioural parameters of cognitive tasks (EpiTrack, VLMT, ROCFT, mental rotation test, Go/NoGo) with tDCS (Transcranial direct current stimulation) after n-back task Group 4: Group 4: Healthy adults
Behavioural parameters of cognitive tasks (EpiTrack, VLMT, ROCFT, mental rotation test, Go/NoGo) with sham-tDCS

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Cognitive tasks: EpiTrack (attention and executive functions), VLMT (verbal memory, performance of learning, encoding, recal and recognition), ROCFT (visual construction and memory), mental rotation test (rotating objects in mind), Go/NoGo (attention and predictable appearance of stimuli).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
n-Back paradigma. The questionnaire (1) on adverse events , after stimuilation. (1) C. Poreisz, K. Boros, A. Antal, W. Paulus, Safety aspects of transcranial direct current stimulation concerning healthy subjects and patients, Brain Res Bull, 72 (2007) 208-214.
