Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, written consent, age 18-99 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Withdrawal of written consent, diseases wwith contradictions for pulmonary function testing like: symptomatic abdominal aortic aneurysm, acute myocardial infarction,thoracic deformities, patients who are incapable of giving concent.
