Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: healthy volunteers, 18 up to 30 years of age, BMI<30 kg/m2, non-smoker, written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: -BMI>30 kg/m2 -smoker -diseases affecting digetsion, resorption, and metabolism -type TT of the methylentetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR) gene -chronic diseases -acute infektion -pregnant and lactating women -known allergies or intolerances against tested food

MeasureTime frame
Measurement of folate vitamers in plasma after ingestion of strawberries or folate supplement or control using HPLC-DAD and LC/MS-MS. Blood samples are taken 2 hours before the testmeal. 0min, 15min,30min, 45min, 60min, 75min, 90min, 105min, 120min, 3h, 4h, 5h, 6h, 7h, 8h, 9h, and 10h after the testmeal.
