Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: >18 years, ASA classification I-IV, written informed consent, excellent (German) language skills in order to undergo the neuropsychological testing

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: history of cerebrovascular disease, intracranial pathology, dementia, ASA >=V (American Society of Anesthesiology physical status classification system)

1) Cerebral autoregulation (cerebral oxygenation index, intraoperative measurement), 2) postoperative cognitive dysfunction (pre- and postoperative assessment: California Verbal Learning Test, grooved pegboard test, Trail Making Test A/B, digit span test)
