Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: elective inguinal hernia repair

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ASA status greater than II, neurological or psychiatric disorders, chronic pain syndromes or previous history of opioid use. Reoperation or emergency operation, cardiac arrhythmias.

Indirectly influences the improvement of the quality of a patient´s life seven days after surgery. It is estimated with SF­36 health survey questionnaire.

MeasureTime frame
Influences on acute postoperative pain at rest and movement in the period of 24 and 48 hours after inguinal hernia surgery.The pain will be measured by Visual Analogue Scale (VAS).
