Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Case group: pregnant women with suspected FGR with / without preeclampsia or diabetes. control group: pregnant women in which FGR has been excluded with / without preeclampsia or diabetes.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: fetal anomalies, abnormal fetal karyotype, patients with clinical or biochemical signs of infection, positive TORCH screening results, or other severe maternal metabolic disorders, and the patient's withdrawal from the study.

MeasureTime frame
Study aim: In the study we test the hypothesis that cholesterol-transport processes are involved in the regulation of placental and fetal angiogenesis in FGR.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Secondary study aim: In the study we test the hypothesis that a disturbed cholesterol transport is involved in the development cardiovascular diseases later in life.
