Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All patients with acute pyogenic flexor tenosynovitis which were treated surgically between 01.01.2011 and 31.12.2015 are included in the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: All patients who reject follow-up examination.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
DASH (Disabilities of the Arm, Shoulder and Hand) score of all included patients

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Collection of following data of all included patients: Duration of postoperative antibiotic treatment, date of treatment completion, any occurred complications and / or other operations according to the digital pyogenic flexor tenosynovitis, documentation of satisfaction with the treatment outcome on a visual analogue scale (0 = completely dissatisfied to 10 = completely satisfied), investigation of the affected finger (scar, swelling, feeling of the fingertip, mobility of the affected finger after the range of motion).
