18 Years to 45 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: traumatic meniscus tear, age of patient >18 and <45 years, operation within the first 6 weeks after injury at our institution patients place of residence: munich MRI and standard x-ray preoperatively

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: age 45 years arthrosis (ICRS > III) multiligament injuries degenerative meniscus tears meniscus root tears

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Endpoint: 3 month postoperative MRI to evaluate healing properties of meniscal repair

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. determination of negative predictive factors: (type of meniscus tear, meniscal repair, cartilage lesion) 2. Determination of clinical outcome 3 month postoperative (Scores: IKDC 2000, KOOS, Tegner/Lysholm, WOMET)
