Group 1: V0 Entry examination and daily oral administration of 5g of specific collagen peptides over 12 weeks.
V6 intermediate examination like V0 after 6 weeks.
V12 final examination like V0 after 12

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Older than 18 Functional knee or hip joint pain. Signed informed consent
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Evidence or diagnosis for osteoarthritis or rheumatoid arthritis or other knee/hip joint related diseases Arthroscopic or radiological destruction of joint cartilage Recent trauma of knee or hip joint within the last 6 weeks Acute inflammation or injury Intake of corticosteroids or other drugs that may influence joint pain Age-induced frailty or dementia
