Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To compare the surgical and oncological outcomes of patients with BOT after laparotomy or laparoscopic surgical procedures performed between 2009 and 2014 at the University Clinic of Gynecology of the Pius Hospital Oldenburg

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. To describe the clinical patient characteristics and risk factors at time of diagnosis for patients with BOT. 2. To estimate frequency of BOT according to histological features and staging. 3. To estimate the median duration of surgery according to tumor size. 4. To estimate the rate of complications of primary and second-look procedures according to surgical approach. 5. To estimate recurrence rates after radical and conservative surgical treatment according to surgical approach. 6. To estimate recurrence rates after incomplete surgical staging according to surgical approach. 7. To estimate recurrence rates according to histological findings and staging of primary BOT. 8. To estimate malignant transformation rates during follow-up. 9. To estimate progression-free survival rates according to surgical approach. 10. To estimate pregnancy rates after conservative fertility sparing surgery according to surgical approach. 11. To estimate whether the predictive value of DNA ploidy as a dependent factor on tumor recurrence rate.
