Group 1: Students of the 9th Semesters of the Modellstudiengang Medizin der Charite University Medizin Berlin are required to complete the M37 science module as part of their curricular requirements.

Inclusion criteria: Students of the 9th semester of the Modellstudiengang Medizin of the Charité Univesity Medicine, Berlin

Primary

Measure	Time frame
First primary outcome are four items taken from the German version of a validated test (Berlin Numeracy Test, Cokely et al., 2012). The Berlin Numeracy Test allows robust statements about the ability a person to understand Bayesian statistiks (www.riskliteracy.org). Second primary endpoint are two items taken from teh Critical Risk Interpretation Test (Tanner et al., 2014) that test the ability to assess risk when expressed in relativ or absolut risk reduction formats.	—

First secondary endpoint is a Likert-scale question for self-evaluation of the students' ability to evaluate the ethical implications of the results of scientific studies of diagnostic tests for the treatment of patients. Second secondary endpoint is a Likert-scale question for self-evaluation of the studients ability to adequately communicate the results of scientific studies, i.e., the benefits and harms of medical interventions, to their patients.	—
