Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: children and Youngsters suffering from a schizophrenic psychosis, treated in the period from the 01.01.2002 to the 31.12.2004 in the child and youth home Leppermühle.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: F20.6. Schizophrenia simplex, because the reliability and validity of this diagnosis is discussed very controverse.

MeasureTime frame
One-time catamnestic investigation. Examination at the beginning and course of schizophrenic psychosis with IRAOS ("Interview for the Retrospective Assessment of the Onset and Course of Schizophrenia and other Psychoses"). Investigation of the functioning level with CGI/GAF ("Clinical Global Impressions", "Global Assessment of Functioning Scale") and GAS ("Global Assessment Scale"). Investigation of symptomatology with SAPS/SANS ("Scale for the Assessment of Positive/Negative Symptoms") and BPRS ("Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale").

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
One-time catamnestic investigation: Investigation of symptomatology with BSCL ("Brief Symptom Checklist"). Investigation of the life quality with WHOQOL-BREF ("WHO Quality of Life, short version") and QLiS ("quality of life in schizophrenia"; Qualitative interview to quality of life). Neuropsychological examination by WAIS - IV ("Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale - Fourth Edition", short form) and TMT-A/-B ("Trail Making Test", type A and B).
