MeasureTime frame
Aim of the study: Measurement and comparison of intraocular proteins by intraoperative aqueous humor-extraction in patients with primary and secondary open-angle glaucoma and healthy age-matched controls who need ophthalmo-surgery because of other diseases. Study schedule: It is planned to recruit 200 probes from the routine patient base at the Department of Ophthalmology, University of Cologne, Germany. The probe-extraction will only be performed if a standard ophthalmo-surgery is necessary. The protein- and cytokine-profiles will be analysed by mass spectrometry, antibody array analysis, multiplex microbead assay and ELISA.
