Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
The primary endpoint is the increase in physical activity as determined by the daily number of steps measured with a pedometer. This will be measured at baseline and after the intervention, i.e. after 9 weeks.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
The increase in physical function as determined by 3 functional tests, i.e. the 6-minute walk, the “Get up and Go” test and a strength’s test of lower limbs. The increase in quality of life will be measured using the SF36 questionaire modified for dialysis patients. This will be measured at baseline and after the intervention, i.e. after 9 weeks.
