Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: at least 1 edentulous space in the posterior region

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Severe systemic disease, Pregnancy, Periodontal: - Probing depth (abutment teeth) = 5 - Bleeding on probing = 50% - Plaque index = 50% Dental: - Non-vital abutment teeth, not root-treated - Root-treated abutment teeth treated with periapical change, bruxism

Clinical and radiological examination of the integrity of the posterior bridges (test - and control) and the biological and technical behavior after 1, 3, and 5 years	—
