Group 1: For Survivors there are three ways to participate: Passive participation: Survivors give consent that only the documents from the commission and from the youth wellfare office may be analysed

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants in sample of survivors have to have been in the clearing process of the victims commission for survivors of Vienna's childrens' homes and have to have been financially compensated already. General population sample: stratified sample for gender, age, education no history of institutional abuse

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Survivors from other institutional contexts, e.g. if they have been in Catholic institutions only, but they are included if mixed residences are in history.
